Theme: Challenges Facing Today’s Maritime Engineers
Location: MOD Abbey Wood
Date: 24th-25th January 2024
Abstract Submission by: 21st October 2023
The aim is to ‘Challenge, Inspire and Develop’ maritime engineers. As part of this, the RCNC is particularly keen to encourage active participation from junior engineers and as such the theme has been specifically chosen to enable a broad range of subjects to be covered with further encouragement being offered in the form of a prize being awarded to the best paper presented by an associate member (or prospective associate member).
Presentations are sought from within MOD, RN, RFA, and industry, and should have a MOD/RCNC sponsor. Presentation slots at the conference will be approximately 20 minutes and content may be up to Official Sensitive. Supporting technical papers are encouraged (no strict formatting applies). Please submit proposed presentation titles and abstracts by 21 October 2023 to [email protected]. Successful applicants will be confirmed soon after.
For those wishing to have a market stall for interesting technical/engineering demonstrations (e.g., VR capability) then please email to book [email protected] (due to limited space please express interest as soon as possible).
Please also use this email address for any questions and queries you may have regarding the conference.
Looking forward to seeing you all there!
